WRK Training are pleased to announce that we are now taking bookings for ISO 45001 transition training courses for those clients wishing to hold their training in-house. We are also in the process of scheduling public events and these dates will be released accordingly. You can see the full details on our course here – ISO 45001 Transition Course
ISO are currently developing the new standard for Occupational health and safety management systems – ISO 45001. The new standard will help organisations to reduce the burden of occupational injuries and diseases by providing a framework that will improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions. the International Labour Organization’s latest figures show that more than 6300 people die each day from work-related accidents or diseases so it is hoped that the new ISO 45001 standard will help to create safer working conditions across the world.
The standard which is currently being developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts is due for publication in March 2018 however the final draft (FDIS) is scheduled to be released in November 2017. Any changes between the FDIS and the finished standard will be minor so it is from this date when WRK Training will be delivering training on the new standard. We are suggesting to customers that want a course to help them with the transition from OHSAS 18001 to IS 45001 to book early because the expected demand for the course is set to be high. Our tutor availability typically fills 6-8 weeks in advance so for November 2017 training we would advise scheduling dates by the end of September.
